We are pleased to welcome Rawn Salenger, MD, for his presentation, "ERAS: The Patient, The Journey, and The Road Ahead." 

Dr. Salenger is an international leader in advancing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) in cardiac care. He serves as project lead for the University of Maryland Medical System ERAS Initiative and as Vice President of Education for the ERAS Cardiac Society. He also previously served as Board Chair of the Maryland Cardiac Surgery Quality Initiative (MCSQI).

In this session, Dr. Salenger will discuss ERAS consensus guidelines for optimal perioperative care in cardiac surgery, their impact on patient experience and quality, and opportunities for continued improvement in the field.
